The Runnin’ Bulldog Soccer Academy (RBSA) was founded in 1988 by Gardner-Webb University’s head coach Tony Setzer. It has grown from 11 campers in the first year to serving 546 in 2007. RBSA has three locations, Gardner-Webb University (Boiling Springs, NC); The Dover YMCA (Shelby, NC), and Hunters Creek Middle School (Jacksonville, NC).

For the past 20 years, the RBSA has had the privilege to serve over 11,000 campers. Our main goal is to teach the game in a challenging and fun environment. We have had quite a large number of campers that have gone on to play in college and beyond.

The staff is dedicated to teaching the beautiful game and we look forward to working with your soccer star. The biggest thing we can say is each camper is someone’s favorite player. We realized that each campers is your soccer star.
